IFA Risk Capacity Survey
I’ve mentioned the IFA web pages several times on this blog and I want to again bring special attention to one of the very best investment web sites available on the Internet. Click on the link and see if you don’t agree. Whether you are a beginning, intermediate, or advanced investor, you owe it to yourself to take the “Risk Capacity Survey.” Test yourself accurately and see which of the twenty portfolios is a “best fit” and then examine your actual holdings.
There are some missing questions in the questionnaire I wish they had included. For example, there should be a question that covers income derived from pensions and social security. For example, assume an investor has a pension and sufficient social security to live. If this were the case, then it is possible such an investor does not need to hold bonds in the portfolio. It has been some time since I took the survey, but I don’t recall answering such a question.
If you enjoy this web site and want to hold all this material in your own hands, you can purchase Mark Hebner’s “Index Funds” book for a very reasonable price.
