Classical Music: Vivaldi & Bach
My CD recommendation for this Sunday morning is Vivaldi’s Gloria and Bach’s Magnificat, featuring the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chamber Chorus directed by none other than Robert Shaw. This TELARC recording is outstanding, particularly if one enjoys choral music. I have two recordings of these masterpieces and this CD is my favorite.
It is possible to download this music for a lower cost. My preference is to pay the difference and have the CD available should a hard drive crash or I want to play the CD on a superior system.
