Classical Music: Beethoven
I planned to have the Top 100 spreadsheet ready this morning. Unfortunately, there is an error in the listings and I am waiting for the powers at KBPS to clean up the conflicts.
Since Beethoven occupies so many of the top spots in the Top 100, I thought it fitting to recommend this CD. It is a 2 CD collection of Beethoven’s first four symphonies featuring Karl Bohm conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. There is a companion CD that includes the remaining four symphonies of Beethoven.
A few weeks ago, I was privileged to see where this orchestra rehearses and performs. We had too little time to spend in this beautiful city.
