Music Recommendations for 1/25/2009
This morning I am recommending two CD’s in hopes of satisfying different groups of listeners. The two recommendations are listed below.
- Concertos Baroques Italiens
- A Gift of Song
The number one recommendation features Maurice Andre, my pick for the best trumpeter of our age. A few composers featured on this CD are Vivaldi, Tartini, Albinoni, Zipoli, and Bellini.
The second CD is quite different and it is really a Christmas recording. One cut on the CD has the same name as the CD, The Gift of Song. This one recording is definitely worth the price of the CD.
