60% Equities & 40% Bonds: Return/Risk => 60%
This morning, I was asked if I could come up with a portfolio where the equity/bond makeup would be 60%/40% and the projected return to risk ratio would be 60% or higher. Yes, it is possible, and here is such a portfolio. Check out this video for an explanation. The return/risk ratio just makes 60% requirement. The diversification metric is on the low side, the one negative I see for this portfolio.
